July 30 - PRAGUE
- arrival in Prague – the heart of Europe, an ancient European city renowned for its beauty and
unique wealth of historical sights, the capital of the Czech Republic
- meeting at the airport and transfer to the hotel
- accommodation at the hotel Clarion Old Town **** or similar in the very centre of Prague
- walking tour of the Old Town of Prague including the Old Town Square with famous
astronomical clock, Charles Street and historical Charles Bridge overlooking the Prague
Castle and the Vltava River
- welcome dinner at traditional Bohemian restaurant in the Old Town of Prague
- overnight in Prague


July 31 - PRAGUE
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- halfday city tour of Prague including orientation city tour and visit to the Prague
Castle with famou St. Vitus Cathedral, picturesque Golden Lane, Gothic Vladislav Hall
- lunch at local restaurant
- afternoon at leisure for individual activities
- overnight in Prague


August 1 - PRAGUE – PLZEN – KARLSTEJN
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- departure for Plzen /Pilsen/- the metropolis of Western Bohemia and the town of Pilsner
Urquell and the city of culture 2015
- touring the Pilsen brewery - you will learn about the unique brewing process for Pilsner Urquell, the only original of Pilsner type beer, stop will be in the modern Visitors´ Centre, which is dominated by a model of the brewery from the previous centre, visit the authentic places where Pilsner Urquell has been produced from the beginning, l go through the heart of the brewery, the brew house, by a labyrinth of storage cellars which have retained the traditional methods for producing beer.
The tour is combined with a tasting of unfiltered Pilsner Urquell beer in the original cellars - lunch at the beer restaurant Na Spilce in the Pilsen Brewery - continue to Karlstejn Castle - a glorious example of medieval architecture built in the middle
of 14th century by Charles IV as a safe deposit for the crown jewels and important state
documents. The castle was designed by the famous French architect Matthias of Arras - afternoon drive back to Prague
- overnight in Prague


August 2 - PRAGUE
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- day at leisure in Prague
- evening cruise of the Vltava River with buffet-dinner
- overnight in Prague


August 3 - PRAGUE - BRNO - VELEHRAD
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- visit Brno - the second largest city in the Czech Republic and the metropolis of Moravia. Brno is
famous for its rich architectural and cultural heritage (e.g. Špilberk Fortress, St. Peter and Paul
Cathedral, Old Town Hall) and for many international trade fairs and motorcycle Grand Prix
- city tour of Brno and time at leisure for shopping
- travel to Southern Moravia to explore an unique complex of 80 historical wine-cellars /dating
back to the 18th and 19th centuries/ in Petrov-Plze and taste a variety of local wines
- continue to Velehrad – visit Basilica of Assumption of Virgin Mary - one of the most
significant pilgrimage places in Moravia - and the third biggest building of its kind in the Czech
Republic. At the beginning of the 13th century the first Cistercian monastery in Moravia was built
- dinner and overnight at the hotel Mlyn**** in Velehrad


August 4 – VELEHRAD – ROZNOV POD RADHOSTEM - KRAKOW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- travel to Roznov pod Radhostem - a popular holiday centre in the lower reaches of the Becva
River with a remarkable open-air museum of Wallachian folk architecture with examples of
typical farmhouses, folk decorations and interiors
- take a tour of the Wallachian Village and Little Wooden Town
- lunch at Wallachian restaurant in the Wallachian Village
- afternoon drive to Krakow - the ancient capital of Poland, a royal city on the Vistula lying at the
foot of Wawel - a limestone hill on whose peak rise a splendid royal palace and the cathedral
church of St. Waclaw and bishop Stanislaus
- overnight at the hotel Golden Tulip **** or similar in the city centre of Krakow


August 5 – KRAKOW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- sightseeing tour of Krakow – visit the Main Market Square (one of the largest town squares in
Mediaeval Europe, walk through the Florianska streets leading to the famous Florian Gate and
the Barbican – remains of the former city fortifications and visit to the Wawel Castle – the royal
residence and the seat of Polish kings
- afternoon departure for Wieliczka Salt Mine – the
oldest salt mine in Europe (operated since 13th century)
and impressive underground world of salt lakes, chambers,
galleries and unique Salt Works created by many
generations of Polish miners. Tourists are visiting 3 levels
of the mine, to the depth of 136 meters – the part which
have been worked in the 17th – 19th centuries
- return to Krakow
- dinner at local restaurant in the Old Town of Krakow
- overnight in Krakow


August 6 – KRAKOW – AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU - KRAKOW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau - the biggest Nazi Concentration Camp in the years 1940-45
where approx. 1,5 million people were exterminated. A Martyrdom Museum was set up here
in 1947, and in 1979, UNESCO included O?wi?cim-Brzezinka in the list of World Heritage
sites, guided tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum included
- afternoon return to Krakow
- dinner and overnight at the hotel in Krakow


August 7 – KRAKOW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- day at leisure in Krakow
- overnight in Krakow


August 8 – KRAKOW – CZESTOCHOWA - WARSAW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- drive from Krakow to Warsaw
- en-route stop in Czestochowa to visit Jasna Gora Monastery - the tradition of pilgrimiging to
Jasna Gora dates back to 1382 when the monastery was funded. The Prince Ladislaus II of
Opole invited Pauline monks to Poland. He gave them Jasna Gora hill with a small church under
the invocation of Holy Virgin Mary the Succourer. Next he presented them with the miraculous
picture of Our Lady which is told to be painted by Luke the Evangelist on the plank of the table
on which the Holy Family prayed and dined.
- continue your drive to Warsaw - stop at home-hosted dinner in Lowicz – a typical Mazovian village famous for craft and paper cut-outs, enjouy your meal with the local family in their charming wooden cottage house - continue your drive to Warsaw - the capital of Poland situated in the middle course of the Vistula River, settled in 10th however the Old Town was established in 14th and 15th centuries, during the World War II 87% of city´s building were destroyed - overnight at the hotel Novotel Centrum **** or similar in the centre of Warsaw


August 9 – WARSAW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- morning sightseeing tour of Warsaw – walk to the Old Town of Warsaw – carefully reconstructed carefully reconstructed after the World War II., see t St.John´s Cathederal-the oldest church in Warsaw, Historical Museum, Castle Square, the New Town Market and drive via Royal Route, Grand Opera and the National Theatre
- afternoon at leisure
- farewell dinner at the local restaurant in the Old Town of Warsaw
- overnight in Warsaw


August 10 – WARSAW
- buffet-breakfast at the hotel
- transfer from the hotel to the airport and departure for your home
